Currently, the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union (CĐKHCN) is managing and directing the activities of 53 affiliated trade unions with a total of 82,838 union members; female union members have 34,267 people, accounting for 41.36%.

In the period 2020-2025, the emulation movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework" among female workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) in the Science and Technology sector was comprehensively and systematically directed by the CĐKHCN and closely linked to the political tasks of the sector. Trade union levels have synchronously deployed propaganda work on the goals, meanings, and contents of the movement; widely disseminated directives and resolutions of the Party, policies and laws of the State and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on women's affairs, gender equality, family and children.

The work of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights of female workers and employees is widely deployed. The implementation of women's labor policies is always concerned and facilitated, many units support regimes that are more beneficial than legal regulations; organize visits, support, and reward children who study well, creating motivation for women to feel secure in their work.
Typically, at VNPT Trade Union, the unit maintains and implements many clauses that are more beneficial for female workers in the collective labor agreement: the policy of supporting female workers taking maternity leave in accordance with population policy will be supported once (in addition to social insurance payments) at a level of 10,000,000 VND, in cases of twins or more, from the second child onwards, for each child, an additional support of 5,000,000,000 VND is provided.
VNPOST Trade Union and professional departments supported more than 2.5 billion VND for 92 grassroots trade unions to organize activities for female CBVCLĐ, while ensuring full salary raise, bonuses, working conditions, meals, sightseeing and vacation, visits...
In particular, the "Creative Labor" movement became a typical highlight of the entire industry. Female workers and employees boldly proposed more than 1,000 initiatives in the "One Million Initiatives - Efforts to Overcome Difficulties, Be Creative, Determined to Win the COVID-19 pandemic" Program (phase 1, June 2022), bringing economic efficiency of hundreds of billions of VND, and being commended and recognized by unit leaders and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
