Tại Hội nghị hiệp thương lần thứ hai diễn ra sáng ngày 2.2, UBMTTQ Việt Nam TP Đà Nẵng đã thỏa thuận, lập danh sách sơ bộ những người ứng cử đại biểu Quốc hội khóa XVI, đơn vị thành phố Đà Nẵng và đại biểu HĐND thành phố nhiệm kỳ 2026 – 2031.
The conference was co-chaired by Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Tri Thanh and Standing Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Phi Hung. Attending the conference were Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi.
At the conference, based on the presentations and discussion opinions, the delegates unanimously voted to approve the preliminary list of candidates for the 16th National Assembly, Da Nang city unit, term 2026 – 2031. The list includes 19 people, including 1 self-nominated person. Having a self-nominated person shows the political rights of citizens according to regulations and the spirit of democracy in election work.
Along with the approval of the preliminary list, the conference agreed on a plan to organize a conference to collect opinions and confidences from voters at their place of residence for candidates for the 16th National Assembly. This is an important step to ensure publicity, transparency and the participation and supervision of voters in the election process.
For delegates of the Da Nang City People's Council for the term 2026 – 2031, the conference highly unanimously agreed on a preliminary list of 131 people, including 1 self-nominated person. The delegates also voted to approve the plan to organize a conference to collect opinions and confidences from voters in the place of residence for candidates of the City People's Council.
The organization of the second consultation conference and the unification of related lists and plans shows the serious and close preparation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City in election work. The steps are carried out in the correct order, ensuring the promotion of the people's right to mastery and contributing to selecting delegates who meet the standards and conditions to participate in the National Assembly and the City People's Council in the next term.
