The Trade Union of Department H08 (People's Police Trade Union) currently has 2,580 union members, operating in 7 grassroots trade unions.
In 2025, union members and workers at enterprises under Department H08 have an average income of 9 - 24 million VND/month; of which 1,787 union members and workers (accounting for 69%) have an average income of 15 million VND/person/month or more.
The Trade Union of Department H08 has guided and directed grassroots trade unions to implement grassroots democracy regulations, proactively implement dialogue activities with Party committee leaders at the same level; coordinate to organize employee conferences, sign supplementary collective labor agreements; propose to improve the quality of lunch meals for employees at a minimum of 28,000 VND/meal or more...
At the same time, participate in proposing supplements and amendments to legal documents, regulations, and rules with leaders at all levels according to their authority on policies related to union members and workers in a more beneficial direction such as: leave regime, in-depth health check regime, welfare spending, labor protection conditions, occupational safety and health... In 2025, there will be no labor disputes, collective lawsuits regarding labor, employment, wages and other policies.
In addition to Tet care activities, Workers' Month, in 2025, trade union levels in Department H08 always maintain good organization of regular care activities, promptly visiting union members who are sick, pregnant, have funerals, weddings, subsidies for union members in difficult circumstances; suffering from occupational diseases... There are 1,780 turns of union members and workers being visited and supported by trade union levels in the Department with a total amount of 575 million VND.
Regarding the organization of the "Trade Union Meal" Program in 2025 at affiliated grassroots trade unions to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Police Force (August 19) and National Day (September 2), 100% of grassroots trade unions will organize it simultaneously on August 29, 2025 for nearly 2,000 trade union members at 16 collective kitchens of units in all 3 regions of North - Central - South.
